With client and market demands influencing product development roadmaps, businesses can no longer delay their digital transformation to enhance client experience and reduce operational costs. However, the road to digitization is not smooth, as communication between solution providers and the business leaders of client companies is generally a “monologue” or a “demagogue,” as opposed to a “dialogue.” Technical consultants have a pivotal role in fostering a strong relationship between their company and the clients.
When Tim Goodman and Michael Patishman embarked on a mission to assist enterprises in their digital transformation journey by unleashing the power of Adobe’s products, they made a pact between themselves: “We would be the best company for anybody to work with.” The pact was a cornerstone of the work culture at BizTech—an Adobe consultant firm. With over a hundred experts in Adobe having second-to-none technical skills and donning the role of consultants to assist clients, BizTech is a Specialized Partner of Adobe Systems. “We are specialized in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign with a successful track record of implementing projects to customer satisfaction,” states Patishman, CEO, BizTech. The company’s praiseworthy work culture ensures that employees get to perform tasks that are in synchronization with their aspirations.
"BizTech works collaboratively with its clients in order to help them deliver the best customer experiences and outcomes possible"
BizTech connects with clients by creating a team of people working toward a common outcome, comprising its own employees and members of client organizations. As a part of the digital transformation exercise, multiple modules in the client ecosystem such as content management, analytics, and digital asset management are consolidated onto a single platform—the AEM. The functions and features necessary for clients are built on the platform to suit enterprise architecture, process operations, and the desired end results. Following this, BizTech enables outbound communication through SMS, mobile apps, emails, print, and social media to support campaigns using Adobe Campaign for consistent multi-channel communication through predetermined client preferences. “Campaign effectiveness can be enhanced in two ways—by setting up all channels to communicate a powerful message; and by beginning with the understanding of what content needs to reach whom,” says Patishman.
BizTech zeros in on the optimum solution for clients using three parameters—integrity to guarantee the most apt solution, the impact of the solution on the overall environment, and the commercial aspect. Upon finding the right solution, the company performs further integrations to Adobe’s offerings which may be necessary to achieve the objective.

The Symbiotic Relationship
BizTech takes pride in its long-running partnership with Adobe and has been awarded Adobe Partner of the year in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. The tremendous growth as well as the successful go-to-market strategy of the company has made BizTech the longest running Adobe solution partner in Australia and New Zealand regions. It is also the only local partner to have achieved the highest-level specialization status for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Campaign. This partnership benefits both the companies in terms of customer acquisition, retention, sales performance, and effectiveness. Collaboration with BizTech has also earned Adobe more customers that look forward to leveraging Adobe Marketing Cloud.
BizTech has implemented several enterprise solutions with the help of Adobe since 2008. Specializations in AEM and Adobe Marketing Cloud enable the company to support its customers from inception to the delivery stage of the projects that include consulting, training, and support. BizTech’s consulting support goes beyond technology and project delivery as it helps customers in understanding their data and discovering ways to analyze it. In terms of training, BizTech provides the support of Adobe certified instructors who train clients to get the best out of their Adobe solution. BizTech hosts, maintains, and supports websites and content management systems, in particular, the AEM suite.
In addition, BizTech maintains partnerships with other organizations such as Microsoft and Simple, to integrate products such as Microsoft Azure or Marketing Resource Manager respectively. Business intelligence is another area where BizTech has the expertise.
The BizTech team utilizes its wealth of experience to both define and solve business problems. It caters to a wide range of industries across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Canada including telecommunications, logistics, law enforcement, state and federal governments, banking, finance, and education.
Successful Customer Journeys
BizTech works collaboratively with its clients to help them deliver the best customer experiences and outcomes possible. It fulfills the customers’ expectations and goes the extra mile for creating successful customer journeys. One such exceptional story was that of a popular television broadcaster.
In New Zealand, the most watched channels are TV ONE, TV2 and the TVNZ Pop-Up Channel on Freeview. The television broadcaster managing these channels looks after six TV channels and runs a popular video on demand site which has over a million users.
Also, the commercial broadcaster controls a leading news site and generates revenue through advertising.
In 2013, the national television broadcaster wanted to move the in-house news and On Demand WCM solution to AEM. As the broadcaster was looking for an Adobe partner to take up the project, it entrusted the task to BizTech. Continuous consultations from Adobe helped BizTech ensure that it adheres to Adobe’s upgrades to the next version of their product. BizTech comprehended the client’s business requirements and helped them translate those requirements into an opportunity by working closely with their business and IT stakeholders. The client was equipped with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Adobe Managed Services, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
BizTech built continuous integration and enterprise solutions outside the AEM WCMS space which allowed scalable delivery to the load levels projected by the business. An Adobe certified trainer was appointed to train the broadcaster’s in-house software developers for using and implementing AEM CMS solutions. They were also provided with AEM CMS knowledge transfer in addition to the best coding practices and code review strategies with a code repository and enterprise security hardening strategy for the project.
Another customer of BizTech is one of the big four banks in Australia, which is also among the top 40 globally. It offers retail, online, and wealth management services with a major focus on the Asian marketplace. The bank wanted to roll out an enterprise-wide content management system (CMS) transformation across all its divisions. BizTech was the AEM subject matter expert on this project and advised the bank on the best way to implement AEM as well as develop the components and templates to build pages and content in AEM.
As the AEM implementer, BizTech was responsible for AEM component design and implementation, unit testing, and quality assurance. Before testing, the BizTech Quality Assurance Manager ensured that the acceptance criteria was met minimizing the number of defects. BizTech provided a user and developer guide to the bank to ensure that the future components are built as per the standards. As subject matter experts, BizTech also provided feedback to the bank on all AEM matters and integration points, which proved significant for them.
Exceptional capabilities and work culture have helped BizTech win over numerous clients. The company has extensively helped organizations when their earlier digital transformation projects failed to achieve the desired level of success. Improving the time to market is another core focus of BizTech, for which the company has productized some of its implementations that are commonly sought by clients. Describing them as “Quick Start” offerings, Patishman says that these offerings come with APIs that can be used to accelerate the implementation process. “Today, we can get content management systems up and running for clients in three months and campaign offerings in 10 weeks as opposed to 10 or 18 months,” he adds. BizTech’s capability to hasten deployment has kept the C-suites buzzing. Companies embarking on the next level of digital transformation journey are knocking on BizTech’s doors.
